Sabona quality cannot be beat. The major components of any magnetic bracelet are:
Materials
Sabona magnetic bracelets are made with stainless steel or pure titanium. These quality materials are the foundation of any Sabona bracelet. Many less expensive bracelets are made with steel or titanium alloys or in some cases brass. These materials are not as durable and will not stand the test of time.
Sabona copper bracelets are made with the purest source of copper (99% pure copper). This is important because many of our competitors’ copper bracelets have traces of nickel which is not recommended.
Sabona carefully crafts each bracelet using only the best materials.
Pins
The links of any Sabona bracelet are held together with permanent pins. The advantage of using permanent pins is that they will not adjust or dislodge during physical activity.
Sabona bracelets are made to last, look good, and stand up to the rigors of daily wear.
Clasps
Sabona’s clasps are designed to stay closed even during the most rigorous activity. Our clasps can be tightened by most jewelers to ensure that your Sabona magnetic bracelet will be with you for many years to come.
Magnets
Sabona uses only samarium cobalt magnets which are guaranteed not to rust. Other brands use different materials that are likely to rust with exposure to moisture.
All of our magnets have north facing polarity which is the most beneficial. Some competitors do not test their magnets for polarity.
Plating
Sabona also adds a special touch in plating selected bracelet styles with .999% silver and uses18 k gold on magnetic bracelets and 23k gold on the copper bracelets. Industry standard for gold and silver plating is 0.25 microns thick; Sabona’s dedication to producing a quality product is reflected in their choice to use a plating 3.0 microns thick.
